Once upon a time, in a sky far, far away, there lived a little cloud named Cloudy. He was small and fluffy, but unlike the other clouds who loved to float around aimlessly, Cloudy had a big dream—to become the greatest Rainmaker in history. The Rainmaker clouds were legends. They brought rain to the thirsty lands, filled rivers, and helped farmers grow food. But to become a Rainmaker, a cloud had to gather a Raindrop Army, and Cloudy didn’t even know how to make a single drop of rain.

“Why don’t you just give up?” teased Thunder, the big, grumpy storm cloud. “You’re too small to make a difference!”

But Cloudy wasn’t the kind to back down. “You’ll see,” he said, puffing himself up (though he still looked like a floating marshmallow). “I’ll show everyone what I’m made of.”
Cloudy floated across the sky, searching for a place to begin his journey. On his way, he met Sunbeam, a bright ray of sunlight.

“What’s the rush, little cloud?” asked Sunbeam.

“I want to gather a Raindrop Army,” Cloudy said, “but I don’t know how.”

Sunbeam thought for a moment and smiled. “Follow me,” he said. “I know where you can find the magic.”

Sunbeam led Cloudy to a calm, shimmering lake far below. “Watch this,” said Sunbeam, as he shone brightly on the water. Little by little, tiny drops of water rose into the air and joined Cloudy.

“What’s happening?” Cloudy asked, amazed.

“It’s called evaporation,” said Sunbeam. “When the lake’s water warms up, it turns into vapor and joins you to become raindrops!”

Cloudy practiced every day, collecting more and more drops until he felt bigger and braver than ever. Soon, he had an army of thousands of raindrops, each sparkling like diamonds inside him. He couldn’t wait to pour down and help the earth.

But before he could do anything, dark storm clouds appeared. It was Thunder again, and this time, he wasn’t alone.

“You can’t be a Rainmaker, Cloudy!” Thunder roared. “This is my sky, and I don’t share!”
Cloudy trembled, but his raindrops whispered, “We believe in you!” Gathering all his courage, Cloudy shouted back, “Everyone deserves rain, Thunder! You can’t stop me.”

With a mighty effort, Cloudy unleashed his Raindrop Army. They danced to the ground, watering the dry soil, filling empty streams, and helping flowers bloom. Thunder tried to scare them away with his loudest roar, but the raindrops didn’t stop.

When the storm passed, Cloudy looked down proudly at what he’d done. Fields were greener, rivers were fuller, and even the farmers smiled up at him. The villagers named Cloudy the “Little Hero of the Sky.”

And up above, the other Rainmaker clouds welcomed Cloudy into their family.
“You’ve done well, little one,” said Old Nimbus, the leader. “Rainmaking isn’t just about being big or loud—it’s about having heart.”

From that day on, whenever the Earth needed rain, Cloudy floated in with his Raindrop Army, small but mighty, ready to bring life to the land.
