The India Writing Project is a beacon for writers across the nation, creating a platform where entrants can express themselves freely, with no restrictions on genre, style, or subject. With the recent surge of interest in Latin American literature, noted by The New Yorker’s reveal that five titles on this year’s national book awards longlist were set in Latin American countries, we are excited to see how such global literary trends might influence the submissions we receive. Will we see essays providing insight into Latin American culture or perhaps poems capturing the vibrant spirit of Latin America?
No matter the direction your creativity takes you, each piece will be evaluated on the clarity of writing, consistency, style of narration, and more. Our diverse panel of accredited authors, whose identities will remain anonymous, ensures a fair and unbiased judgment.
